Project Brief

To create a new web portal for horse sellers to setup their own store front and reach out to potential horse buyers by listing their horses for sale online. Horse buyers can browse and compare attributes between different horses to make purchase decisions and connect with the sellers.

Approach

I began by conducting a focus group discussion with horse trainers and owners to gather stakeholder requirements for the new horse portal. Followed by a presentation to Singapore Turf Club's marketing department to validate the idea.

I conceptualised several possible information architectures, wireframes and hi-fi screens and tested them with users and stakeholders, selecting the one that best facilitated information finding. The selected design (based on stakeholder feedback) was then developed into the horse portal, which was then tested with users before release.
