Project Brief

To revamp the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Singapore website and introduce a ticketing and event management module for a transaction-based experience.

Approach

First, I conducted a usability review on the existing website to uncover usability issues to be remedied as well as conducting focus group dicussion with the committee to discover the needs for the new website. Given that the society was hosting events frequently and having to collect payments manually, I saw an opportunity to implement an event management module.

With committee approval, I went ahead to design and build the web and mobile responsive site, and integrate the event management module for online reservations and payments, together with ticketing and attendance-taking capability.
